Ethnos believes in inspiring creative minds by sharing the diversity of the world’s music in informative and educational formats. Our members are musician-scholar-educators with training in ethnomusicology and insider knowledge about the musics we perform. Beyond our performances, we provide concerts, workshops, and clinics for different age groups. We have worked with several local organizations and music nonprofits in Austin to share our knowledge of and love for different music traditions around the world.
